Title: Don't You Worry (Stiles)
Fandom: Teen Wolf
Characters/Pairing: Derek Hale/Stiles Stilinski, The Hale Family, Allison Argent
Prompt: Scott is bitten by a rogue werewolf when he is 16 and is promptly adopted into the Hale Pack. In order to include his best friend, Stiles, in his new life, Scott and Stiles pretend to be dating. This is fine until they go off to uni and Scott meets Allison, with whom he instantly falls in love, forcing Scott and Stiles to "break up." The Hale Pack had grown to view Stiles as family during the 2+ years since Scott had been bitten, and in a desperate bid to keep him from drifting away from the Pack, they decide to set him up with any/all of the eligible Hales. Enter Derek, who'd lived in New York attending uni for the past four years.

Cycle 002 is almost over...

And our free month is about to begin! Meeting 008 is a very special time for us, one which is set apart from the others not because we will be drawing the new order of roles for Cycle 003, not because it is the first official meeting to be held when all pack members live in individual dwellings in the same ward, not even because 8 is the superior number--no, Meeting 008 important because it is the starting point for a challenge that will require all of us to reflect on the submissions that have been instrumental in defining our time spent together as a pack.

Our challenge for Meeting 008 is simple--we must all create a side work to one of the fics already submitted in previous challenges. We are not permitted to create a side work based on a fic that we ourselves wrote, nor are we permitted to create a side work to one of the submissions for the Cycle 001 Round Robin. We may use any and all forms of media to create this side work. I have created a form which I hope will help everyone organise their thoughts in preparation for Meeting 008, wherein all members will submit their whats, whys, and what abouts to the pack for perusal.

Due to the nature of this challenge, I would like to dedicate this entry to reflecting on all our submissions since the founding of our pack.

No pack members are available to meet on the traditional meeting time (the first Thursday of the month, January 1st), and it is likely that your extremely beloved alpha will be unavailable on the second Thursday (January 8th); therefore, I have taken the liberty of setting the tentative meeting date to Sunday, January 11th, in order to allow the January - February omega 3 and a half weeks to complete the writing challenge, instead of the 3 weeks which would have been allotted had the tentative date been set to the third Thursday (January 15th). A Sunday meeting would be especially convenient in this case as Monday, January 12th falls on a national holiday (成人の日). The meeting date is, of course, open to changes.
